(Kyoto, Japan) – The co-Executive Directors of The International History Bee and Bowl, David and Nolwenn Madden, are currently on a two-month long outreach trip throughout Asia. During the trip, they will be visiting with school leaders, teachers, and education officials throughout Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. The aim of the trip is to lay the groundwork for numerous new tournaments throughout Asia for the 2013-14 school year, including our first-ever Asian Championships. We also anticipate holding tournaments in Dubai, and possibly India during the upcoming school year as well.
