• Welcome to the International History Bee & Bowl Asian Division!

The International History Bee and Bowl are two history quiz competitions in English which are held around the world. The Bee is for individual students; the Bowl is for teams. The International History Bee and Bowl are organized by International Academic Competitions, an organization running events in over 30 countries around the world.
For the 2018-2019 school year, we anticipate running both the Bee and Bowl at 25-30 regional tournament sites in Asia. We will use two separate sets of questions; schools can thus attend up to two regional tournaments as long as the questions are different. During the lunch break, students can also take the International Geography Bee Championships Qualifying Exam.
The top students and teams will also qualify for our 2019 IHBB and IGB Asian Championships on 14-16 June 2019 in Khao Lak, Thailand, the 2020 IGB World Championships, and the 2020 International History Olympiad. Qualification for both the Championships and the Olympiad can take place at any regional tournament.
Please explore the site to learn more about how our tournaments work and how you and your school can get involved. If you have any questions, email our Executive Director, Mrs Nolwenn Madden at nolwenn@iacompetitions.com. Thanks for your interest in The International History Bee and Bowl, and we hope to see you at a tournament soon!
