The International History Bee and Bowl is looking forward to holding its annual UAE History Bee and Bowl Championships during the 2018-2019 academic year. This tournament will run on our Alpha set of questions, and is open to all students and teams (including from outside Dubai and even outside the UAE) as long as they have not yet played our Alpha set of questions – it does not require prior qualification. As soon as the tournament date and location have been confirmed, they will be posted here and then registration for the tournament will open. For further questions, please email Mrs Nolwenn Madden at nolwenn@iacompetitions.com. Thanks, and we hope that you and your school will be able to join us!

A big thank you to Cranleigh Abu Dhabi and in particular Mr Richard Hay for coordinating the hosting arrangements and taking over as director for a time in the middle of the tournament due to my medical emergency, as well as to everyone who came and competed, read, or scorekept throughout the day. We hope that those who qualified will be able to join us at the 2018 IHBB Asian Championships in Thailand in June and at the 2018 International History Olympiad in Berlin next summer! Thanks for a great tournament and for your support of The International History Bee and Bowl!
