At each IHBB Asian Championships, all students – and uniquely all interested coaches and parents in the Adult Division as well! – have the opportunity to compete in the annual Sports & Entertainment History Bee. No qualification is required; typically, this competition runs on Friday evening of Championships weekend. The rules work the same way as a normal History Bee does, though the questions focus on the history (especially the recent history) of global sports, television, popular music, movies, video games, internet culture, and entertaining cultural phenomena.
