In the tropical, 30 degree country of Malaysia our third tournament of the international season took place. Five teams from two schools participated in our competition at Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar--three teams from the host school and two teams from 2014 Championships-attendees Sunway International School. Sunday, November 23rd featured our first IHBB Asia tournament of the season in Shanghai, China at the Shanghai American School in Puxi. Our competition featured four different schools from the Shanghai dares, including host SAS Puxi, sister school SAS Pudong, Shanghai SMIC Private School, and Shanghai High School International Division. The International History Bee and Bowl is gearing up for its fourth year of history quiz tournaments in Asia! In 2013-2014, we expanded throughout Asia with tournaments from Dubai to Japan, and Sri Lanka to Beijing. For the 2014-15 season, Vietnam and Taiwan will see their first tournaments, and we'll also continue visiting schools with an eye to adding more tournaments and countries in future years!
