Over the Indian Ocean  – September 21, IHBB Executive Directors, David and Nolwenn  Madden have just finished seven weeks of outreach efforts to schools in Asia. The trip concluded with a week in Sri Lanka, where we visited with six schools in and near Colombo and Kandy. At a visit to our new host school in Sri Lanka, Gateway College – Rajagiriya, David was given an impromptu opportunity to emcee a history quiz. The students at Gateway College had written the questions themselves, and approximately 80 students took part. The questions from that quiz, as well as an even more challenging interscholastic competition have been forwarded to IHBB for your enjoyment and practice.  How would you and your team stack up against the talented history students of Gateway College ? Note that a number of these questions, especially on Sri Lankan history, are considerably harder than anything you’re likely to find in an IHBB tournament. However, there are plenty of easier questions here too. IHBB thanks Gateway College for providing these questions, and we look forward to our inaugural Sri Lanka History Bee and Bowl there next February 1!
