The International History Bee and Bowl is excited to announce the start of its 2019-2020 competition season! This is IHBB’s ninth year of organizing history quiz tournaments throughout Asia, and it promises to be our most memorable year yet. Our 2020 Asian Championships are already set for the end of May at Seoul Foreign School in Korea, to be followed next July by the 2020 International History Olympiad and International Geography Bee World Championships, which are taking place on a Caribbean cruise! During the school year, 25-30 International History Bee and Bowl regional tournaments will take place, including our first-ever tournaments in Armenia, Chengdu, and possibly Mongolia. We will also be expanding our International Geography Bee Regional Quiz Tournaments, and with the support of our partners, holding the first regional tournaments for the International Academic Bee in China and Vietnam.
During September and October, IHBB staff will be visiting schools throughout Asia to encourage further participation in our events.
