The 2015-2016 competition season for The International History Bee and Bowl’s Asian Division is set to begin! This will be our fifth year overall of organizing history quiz tournaments throughout Asia. This year, we expect to hold our first tournament in the Philippines, a new tournament in Abu Dhabi, and possibly new tournaments in other countries as well. We’re also looking forward to our annual Asian Championships in May or June 2016 – the site will be determined by the end of 2015 – as well as the second International History Olympiad, which will take place in Hawaii in July 2016. Please explore the website for information on our tournaments and how you, your students, and your school can get involved. IHBB staff will be visiting schools throughout Asia from December-March, so if you’d be interested in having us come to share a bit more about how our tournaments work, or to conduct a demonstration match, please let us know.
