The International History Bee and Bowl’s staff is visiting schools throughout Asia during September and October, with stops planned in Korea, Japan, Thailand, China, UAE, Qatar, and Singapore! If you and your school are new to our tournaments and would be interested in having our staff stop by to read a practice match or two, explain the basics of preparation and strategy, and answer any questions you may have, please email nolwenn@iacompetitions.com. As shown in the photo, on September 25, we had the chance to visit with Mr. Michael Harvey, the coach at the new IHBB team at Seoul Foreign School in Korea, where we’re once again looking to hold two History Bee and Bowl tournaments this school year.
Meanwhile, further details on our new Intramural options have been posted here! These events are meant to be a way for students and schools that are farther from our usual full-day tournaments to be able to compete. If your school is located in a region where we are not yet holding full-day tournaments and might be interested in hosting a Regional International History Bee only tournament, please email Mr. Suopeng Gao at suopeng@iacompetitions.com
